TradingNote follows a local-first approach; most user data stays on your device. Personal data processed may include: voluntarily provided contact data (e.g., email for support), basic technical web info (IP, browser, OS) used only for security and proper operation, and data strictly needed for licenses or payments via external providers. TradingNote does not access, analyze, or sell your financial data, investments, or personal notes.
3. Purpose of processing
We process personal data only to respond to support or contact requests, manage access to the app and its features, comply with legal obligations, and improve stability, security, and operation. No data is used for commercial profiling or personalized ads.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on user consent when data is provided, performance of the service relationship, legal obligations, and legitimate interest in maintaining security and proper operation.
5. Data retention
Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the stated purpose or legal obligations. Data stored locally on your device remains under your control.

We do not sell personal data. Sharing occurs only when strictly necessary for technical providers (hosting, payments) or legal compliance, ensuring they meet data protection requirements.

If using providers outside the EEA, TradingNote will apply appropriate safeguards under GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or other valid mechanisms.

Data submitted through the contact form is used exclusively to respond to your message. Form submissions are processed using a serverless endpoint hosted on Cloudflare Workers and delivered via our email provider (ElasticEmail). We do not retain or reuse this information for any other purpose.
